As more and more HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) services move online, it’s increasingly vital that you have your HMRC online log-in details committed to memory. Without your log-in you can’t log in to the Government Gateway and can’t submit your information.
So what happens if you lose or forget your log-in details?
You can request for your log-in details to be re-sent to you by calling the government department help desk for the service you’re enrolled for. One you’ve been taken through the security processes, you’ll be sent a replacement User ID or your new password will be posted to you within seven days.
